NTEDi Announces 2025 Book Scholarship Awards Celebration: ‘Unlocking Potential: Your Journey Starts Here’

 Tulsa, OK – The North Tulsa Economic Development Initiative (NTEDi) is thrilled to announce its 2025 Book Scholarship event entitled “Unlocking Potential: Your Journey Starts Here,” scheduled for May 2, 2025, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Greenwood Cultural Center, 322 N. Greenwood Ave, Tulsa, Okla. This annual celebration aims to empower students through scholarship opportunities while fostering community engagement. Tickets may be purchased online at www.NTEDi.net.

The evening will open with a welcome reception featuring an array of silent auction items, with proceeds to raise funds for future scholarships. Opening remarks will be delivered by Moderator Lori Campbell, followed by a live performance by the talented Victoria Ellington as guests enjoy their dining experience.

Guest speaker Dr. Lael A. Alexander, Founder, Chairman, CEO and CTO of Noitavonne Inc., will share insights on the transformative power of education and the significant impact of scholarships on students’ lives. With a background in Computer Science and Industrial Design from the University of New Orleans, Dr. Alexander began his entrepreneurial journey during college. He has successfully navigated various industries, including Energy, Oil & Gas and Telecom, earning accolades such as the Telecom Industry Technology Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2018.

Attendees will also hear from six scholarship recipients, who will share their personal stories and aspirations, underscoring the importance of support in their academic journeys.

NTEDi President Dr. Lana Turner-Addison expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating, “Education is the key to unlocking potential, and through this event, we are not only providing scholarships but also inspiring hope and ambition in our students. Together, we can build a brighter future.”

The NTEDi Book Scholarship event will also serve as a platform to raise funds for future scholarships, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to supporting education in our community.
