Dr. Turner-Addison, President of NTEDi is a highly motivated, dedicated, and passionate community advocate, educator and volunteer who focuses on obtaining results that will benefit families and the community of Tulsa. She views herself as a visionary, strategic planner and detailed-oriented individual with a strong focus on results. She has proven experience in designing and implementing programs, policies, and practices to ensure smooth organizational operations. Dr. Turner-Addison has extensive experience working with volunteers and community members to establish consensus. Dr. Turner-Addison empathizes with various viewpoints and is an expert at mediating concerns, whether they be individual, public, political, employer or employee. Working collaboratively, she arrives at recommendations that are a “win/win” for all parties involved. She has proven leadership, policy advocacy and public speaking experience. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master’s Degree in Urban Education from Langston University; Doctoral degree at Oklahoma State University in Occupational and Adult Education. Dr. Turner-Addison also holds a Certificate of Mastery in Early Childcare from Tulsa Community College. She currently serves as the Pine Premier Child Care Director, and has served as the Human Rights Director for the City of Tulsa. She also served at Oklahoma State University – Tulsa, as the Community Relations Manager/Financial Accountant.
